Fylde League results/report
Parent captain – Diane
Mixed under 14
The 14 and under boys/girls team played extremely well. There were a couple of games that went down to a tie break, making it even more exciting to watch. I would like to commend the team on their impeccable behaviour while representing the club and thank the parents for their support. It’s unfortunate that Lytham didn’t win the Luke Rutter Cup again this year, but the team gave their best.

Boys Division 2
Lytham Team A are celebrating finishing joint top with South Shore on points in the Fylde League Boys Division 2. Unfortunately we had many teams withdrawing but this did not deter our boys with consistent performances from Maurice, Jeremy, Jan and Owen. Led by Maurice the team demonstrated great sportsmanship both on and off the court, and the Alex & Sam partnership deserves a special mention for pulling off an unexpected doubles win against a considerably older Norbreck team.

U14 girls league div 1
With only 4 teams in this years division it was a fight for the top places. Lancaster had a strong team this year winning all their matches.
Lytham played very well giving the younger players the experience of playing in the Fylde league. There were some challenging matches for the newer players to the league but they learnt a lot from playing other clubs. Overall Lytham finished a close 3rd with only 1 point in it.
Well done girls you displayed fair play, improved match skills and you never gave up against some very tough opponents.
