Elf on the Shelf – Update
3 December 2018
Despite the heavens opening early evening the spirits of a stalwart group of players was not dampened and an american tournament took place. The winners of the Ladies’ and Men’s section were Pam Creelman and David Creelman. This set a tone for the evening with the Creelman’s winning a myriad prizes throughout the night.
The hotpot supper, courtesy of Terry did not disappoint as was delicious. Many thanks Terry. Bingo followed with an appearance of our new Lady Vice, Judith Cooper as the Caller ably assisted by Gill Totty (reindeer) and Liz Le Cardiet (sheep) and enjoyed by all with some very different and amusing number ‘nicknames’.
Our thanks also to Linda Howarth for running the football card (winner David Creelman).
Judith, Gill, Liz and some shepherd
All this effort and organisation resulted in raising £485 for the club development and goes toward the Dome. Special thanks to Gill Totty, Liz Le Cardiet and Judith Cooper who made this evening very special and without their tireless work would not have happened. Thanks also to those 40 members who braved the elements to make the evening a great success.
