Dome Ready for Use24 September 2020
We are pleased to announce that the Dome will now become officially open from Friday 25 September and members can now book ahead 28 days in advance.
- All block bookings have been entered into LTA ClubSpark (Lytham LTC)
- New Bookings can be made via the ClubSpark Website or the Clubspark “Booker” App
Senior and Daytime members should have received a link to register with Clubspark, and once registered you can make bookings.
Please be aware that you pay at the time of booking, using:
- Credit / Debit card
Once payment has been made a unique 4 digit PIN will be sent to you and this can be used to gain access to the courts (using the digilock on the left of the Smartgate) and is valid for that booking just prior to the time.
Please treat the dome with respect and report any problems using the details at the Smartgate, or failing that to any Committee member. The fabric can be damaged and small repairs will ensure its integrity and longevity.
The dome was erected by the contractors on Wednesday and on damp ground which has produced some condensation and you may experience droplets falling to the ground. We are assured this will lessen over the next few weeks.
Additionally you will see and hear the fan(s) adjacent to court 3 which provide the positive pressure which supports the structure. Please do not interfere in any way with them and do not obstruct the outlets or place bags and other items either on top or in front. One fan is in continuous use and the other kicks in at specific times to ensure stability.
Coronavirus protocols for using the Dome
Tennis is only permitted in the Dome provided that you comply with the latest Government guidelines regarding indoor sport.
A maximum of 12 people are allowed in the Dome at any one time (6 per court). You may have to wait outside for a minute to allow others to leave.
You MUST NOT mix with the group on the other court.
Access to court 3 must only be via the rear of court 4. Do not cross the Court by the centre net.
Please wait until you are invited to move onto or leave court 3
Do not mingle with the other group when entering or leaving the dome and surroundings.
Maintain social distancing at all times.
Remember to sanitise regularly and wash your hands as soon as possible after play.
For security reasons Please ensure the Smartgate is closed both on entering and leaving
